Meet Jennifer
My journey as an artist began as a student at William & Mary, where I completed a BBA with a minor in Fine Arts, focusing primarily on art history, architecture and drawing. My paintings are influenced by the study of many artists of impressionism (Degas, Renoir), non-objective abstraction (Kandinsky, Kusama) and symbolist abstraction, (Klimt, Gauguin).
During the time I spent raising our 4 children, I discovered that Alexandria was an incredible place to hone my artistic skills. I have continued my education through classes at the Art League School in Alexandria’s Torpedo Factory and private art teachers.
What initially started as a desire to decorate my own home, soon became a full-time business, supplying custom art to clients/friends, interior decorators and local galleries. My original works can be found throughout the US, and at Nepenthe Gallery in Alexandria, VA.

Nepenthe Gallery
A sampling of my current paintings can be found at Nepenthe Gallery. I have thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with owners Carrie and Jim Garland, and have twice been the featured artist for their ART+WINE+CHEESE events.
